I like it....
I dont think the rover diffs, axles, cvs and cheapen'd centre diff will lol.
Keep up the good work

our dyno is a 2wd but the figures will be fairly close.A 2.2 with a remap and bigger intercooler at the wheels is approx 110hp & 345nm these figgers are compareable to a bas 170hp tune so it lets you know how much power your loosing between the flywheel and wheels
our 3.2 at the moment is 192hp & 500nm at the wheels.as you can see its 75%increase in hp & 45% increase in torque
a ford ranger std at the wheels is 145hp & 350nm and after remap is 170hp and 440nm
the is no chip or flash tune,it is a stand alone ecu that we custom tune here

I really like those power figures. One powerball.....
Is there a ball park figure for this engine conversion?

I spoke to Grinna today re the conversion. Nice, helpful fella.
It sounds very promising and just what I’m after. I might get away with minimal running gear changes as I have HD hubs, and ARB Air locker diff centres.
‘I forgot to ask about exhaust system changes, but most of the engine plumbing retains standard Defender 2.2 hoses which is great re servicing etc.
I just need my house to sell so I can sort the logistics out. Does anyone want to buy a 2.2 engine and maybe gear box with 140,000kms on it?😉
Best wishes all.

I spoke to Glenn today as well. Seems like it is all covered. He sources manifolds from the US, other bits from elsewhere. It really sounds like a well thought through conversion. Not simply a case of bolt it in and drive it out. I reckon the price is quite reasonable, especially given the volume of work. There won't be a whole lot of them. I love the idea. Especially in a 130.

The 3.2 is a great engine (so far for me) but imo definitely needs a lt230 behind it. I think any LR owner will love it as long as the install is sorted and trouble free

Btw 120 nm loss on the dyno seems a lot to me or is this normal?
