I seem to remember seeing something in a Britpart ad about standards being 180 lb/ft and HDs 220 lb/ft, but I'm not sure what that means and it could be wrong anyway.

Yep research an old thread of mine this morning and Rick130 says 225 for 110HD (130 standard fronts)

    King’s KRFR 225 lbs/in
Kings KRFR 03HD ???/?? These are what I had fitted to previous defer
Kings KLRR 05 470 lbs/in not sure if these are fronts for rears.

Yep, you're right, my memory was wrong: Standard height fronts are 225 lbs/in and rears 330.

    Upgrading 110 Front Springs

Picked up the shock to finish off the front end....

Now historically I’ve never been about to tell how the shock were performing, previously used OEM, Billies, and terriferma.

Going to fit some superior engineering remotes.....they have been re-valved by APT Fabrication

I think from memory Nugget has also fitted Superiors to his 130. Be interested to see how they go.

I fitted the shocks up tonight.....

Apparently you can man handle them with out bound shock towers/mounts i.e. shock inform of springs.

I cannot imagine getting them in in the conventional way.....

I decided to drop the sway bar, hi-lift jack the car up til Wheel was well off the ground (should have removed wheel), than jacked the diff down until the flex brake line where at max. drop......by this stage the spring had fallen out.

Shock in than reversed the procedure.

Mounting the adjustable remotes, there isn’t any real room in the engine bay, Ben @ APT clamps the remotes to the shock and hasn’t had an issue. I’ve done the same using cable ties until I pick up longer hose clamps tomorrow.

Pretty sure nugget used the mounting bracket, I’ve asked him on his 130 thread and will consider his method.

Did a few runs over the traffic calming speed bumps in a near by street......at this stage I’ll leave them on setting #1 or #2

The plan was to fit the same shock to the rear....that way I only need to carry one spare.

I’m doing a lot of back road black top driving over the weekend I assume they’ll work just fine.

I mounted mine inside the bullbar on the brackets that are for what i assume a bash plate, rears are mounted to the underside of the floor.
Had mine for a couple of years now, have since re valved them as there wasn't enough rebound.
Easy to rebuild and seem like quite good quality too
