    Steering wheel

Just noticed my 88 v8 wagon steering wheel is bigger diameter than my isuzu ute steering wheel.
    Both power steering.
Anyone know why they changed it.

The steering wheel diameter changed to a smaller wheel in 1987, when the thicker doors with pushbutton locks were introduced. At the same time the seats moved inboard about an inch. Reason - less elbow room.

The hub spline is different, so they are not a straight swap.

Of course, there is no knowing for sure that you have the original thirty+ years later. (either steering or doors)

Ooh you got the four spoke perforated leather version, very nice. I love my smooth leather three spoke. How good do they feel in the hand! Best mod I’ve done.

So much better that that skinny plastic thing with the fake airbag blob in the centre!
