    Hmmm,
Thinking, how many vehicles with split drop and raise hatch and gate or similar obscuring rear openings.
    All ADR compliant of course.
    Cheers

I don't have one, but several four wheel drives, including either D1 or D2, can't remember which, acquired additional bumper lights for Australia.

D1 has a reflector on the tail gate where it would obscure the tail light, ive seen a few other cars with the same if not lights

... best reason I have heard in a while for a policeman explaining why he "put an unroadworthy sticker on the vehicle"

Legal or Helping you stay alive

Legal or not I think it would improve your chances to prevent someone running up your backside if the taillights were visible.

I would prefer to take my vehicle away from a situation on the side of the road where a vehicle might run up the back. I would not want to rely on the taillight on the drivers side for my safety. But I guess every little bit helps.

Next the ladder goes back on and need to plug the holes left by the plate/light (or get creative with that real estate - perhaps a big Times Up Tony sticker Number plate location alternatives). Any suggestions what works well for plugged without being an eye sore on a white car? Was thinking rivets
