Really? He's someone who gave me an enormous amount of time when all I was doing was kicking his tyres, Maybe he is busier these days, and hasn't got a decent secretary.. Don't give up, his stuff is well worth it. No, his stuff is brilliant. Keep trying.

Must agree I have had no success getting any response from Daniel on a number of occasions over the last few of years.

I'm also considering adding big gullwing doors on each side, as we intend to have an external kitchen.

    Thoughts?

You could consider something like how tailgate campers work (google them for some pics)? The rear panel is hinged at the bottom and folds down to form a floor, with the tent above it. They give easy access to the bed area.
I have dreamt and sketched similar concepts many times including as you say outside kitchen and gull wing doors on both sides. The opposite side to the kitchen gull wing would have drop down walls under it for a shower/toilet enclosure.

Here are a couple of sketches I have done. Based on a 2A Forward Control, but the idea is the same.

I have seen a few variations on this "tailgate camper" theme, but its not for me. They all look like too much of a fas to set up, and I can imagine packing away all that fabric on a long overland trip. Great for short weekend trips, and great for the added space. But long term overloading - just seems problematic.

Lots to pack up, I don't get that? I presumed you were showing a pop top style roof on your sketch? Pack up of my sketch would be remove 2 poles from the tent section, swing up the floor section that would take the canvas with it and store it in the cavity in front of the rear wall, then drop the roof, tucking the walls inside as it dropped. 5 mins tops to hard sealed travel mode.

    Dual Cab Roof Removal

Does anyone have any detailed photos of how to remove the roof, and rear window / bulkhead from my 130?

    Thanks in advance.

Get on the phone or go visit him if you can get a day to make the trip to Sydney. I've been in to pester the guys a couple times over the last few months and they have been absolutely flat out with about 6 vehicles on the go at the moment. Even for three years before getting a pop top from him, he was always more than happy to give me advice and in the long run, saved me a lot of money (even when I wanted to buy his stuff he steered me in cheaper/better ways).

I would rather take my business elsewhere. If a person, or company can't even be bother to respond then the last thing I would do is go out of my way to give them my business and her earned $$. Clearly he has more work than he can handle, and as noted by other here his customer service is virtually non existent.
