    yes i am well aware Sheldon is in the middle of making these,he was going to make them for us last year but circumstances change and he could not supply hence we made our own.I know he does very good work and hope once he has it sorted we should be able to purchase off him instead of making our own
    if it is viable.

    yes thats why we fitted the tdv6 and auto to our defender as we already had the adaptor kit made tried and tested for the 6r80 so it was a no brainer.I hope some one on here gets the chance to pop in and take our defender for a run,we have done 3.2,ls3 not to mention a host of other wierd and wonderful things but this tdv6 is by far the best,the only thing an ls has over it is the exhaust note and they do sound sweet

    6l80 is a gm transmission
    6r80 is a ford transmission
    lots of differences the obvious ones are different bolt patterns and shaft splines
