You will need a EGT guage.
Its insidious diesel temps. It rises and rises, without your knowledge.
A long steep hill, part throttle can easily raise a stock engine over a sensible EGT.
Bit of weight and all our 4wd are probably too heavy, head wind = big temps
Tuning can and does make it worse.
On my truck (Defender 130 2.2 Puma)changing down helps but really only 50 degrees or so knocked off.
Backing off once the alarm sounds the only real way too deal with the extra heat, drops real quick.

Tried both his emails. People rave about Jose so I tried to catch up with him! He did reply that he’d just sent a AULRO map but that was many weeks ago.

timing is,relative. If it’s been sent it will most likely still be on the way due to COVID.
I ordered some new windscreen washer parts for my D2 from Lithuania as they are no longer available in Australia. Took nearly three months to arrive.

I wasn’t very clear. When he replied he said he sent one to another AULRO person here in Oz. I haven’t been so lucky

Jose must have so many tyre kickers asking this and that.
I guess an info sheet or page would be good.
I researched what I wanted and told him I had money and wanted to move now.
I now have a new turbo, boost box and map.
Start to finish would have been 3 months.
I am now driving it for a while and will give feedback on the map.
So far, very hapy.
