I found this thread How do i mount this winch on my ARB bar? (aulro.com) which helps but that still leaves the question -
What nuts and bolts will I need?
I have a winch that (once I rebuild it, tips on that welcome in my thread here) I'll need to mount in my ARB Deluxe bullbar.
Can anyone tell me how I actually mount this (and the fairlead) to the bar please?
(I will be running Dyneema rope)
What bolts will I need?
Also for those who have winches - where are you mounting your front plates?
Ta.

Take winch to nut n bolt shop, Grab required grade 8 bolts.
Or drop around to my place and I can measure up the bolts for ya.
Bolts are imperial. The nuts are square.
3/8” thread from memory.
Depending on the bar you may need an offset fairlead, post a pic of your bar.

I had to fit an offset fairlead to my ARB delux bar on my D2a.
The bolts for the winch only need to be strong enough to take the weight of the winch itself because all the force when winching is transferred directly to the bullbar so you don't need super strong specialised bolts to mount the winch to the bar.

What's an offset fairlead? I have two rope style fairleads - one that came with it and another I got from nuggetstuff when Wayne was making them.
As far as nuts are concerned -
I have seen square nuts available for $7 each!
Looking at the winch there are holes in its feet (flats) where it mounts to the bar.
So nuts don't seem to be what's needed but bolts.
And I need to know what maximum depth so it can actually have decent thread engagement but not be so long as to bottom out in the holes.
Cheers

Measure the hole depth
Measure the thickness on the plate that the winch mounts….
Add these up adding some extra for washers.
Bolt lengths are normally in 10mm increments or 1/4” if imperial
Grab bolts with a length that’s closest to your number above, this way they won’t bottom out.
Once winch is mounted you’ll be able to work your fairlead.
There is a Carbon winch mount kit available from e bay For $20-30 which has all you need
