    okay oh extra wise ones...

    what is the biggest battery size you can fit 2 of in a standard defender battery box ?
    2007 Discovery 3 SE7 TDV6 2.7
    2012 SZ Territory TX 2.7 TDCi

    I'm running 2 Alco Calciums, 85 AH, 700CCA, and I cant tell you the model as I cant see it.From memory I think the size is an N12?????? Somone correct me if thats wrong.

    i have heard of people fitting 3 optimas in the battery box
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    My 110 county has a recess in the battery box which will only fit 1x N70 as-is.

    A bit of sheetmetal fabrication and welding is needed to fit a 2nd.

    i'm assuming to you mean to fit a second n70 and not a second battery

    I have 2 N70z battery,s in my fender , The only mod needed was to turn the standard battery around from running length ways of the car , Now both batterys run lenghth ways from passenger,s side to drivers side If you understand that

    I just checked my receipts, yep, the batteries in the County were N70 size, 300 x 220 x 174mm.
