    I've thought about doing this due to the $$$ difference which is completely unjustified but I would be pretty certain the senders would have to be swapped over.

    Hi Justin, the original gauge plugs in and works correctly as far as I can tell. The Defender has a 130l Brown Davis tank so the upper level was never correct - It takes about 300kms till it starts reading off full and from then it is linear within reason to the bottom. The unit looks the same but the Disco pump unit is stightly longer from memory but this is taken up in the spring mount. We only did this because we has a faulty Defender pump and had a spare used TD5 Disco pump unit at hand. Cheers, Erich

    Thanks Erich, suprised to hear the guage still works, as the dashes etc as you know are vastly different Def to Disco and the cahnces of the senders talking to the gauges are very remote!
