    Hi RMB3128,
I have not done it(cause i dont have a Defender-or a Landy at present for that matter), but have seen 1 or 2? with this conversion done.
Many years ago when i used to build up special vehicles for the VP we used a company called "Veh-Quip". They are in Ferntree Gully & still operate & do excellent work.
I cant recall if the windows are a perfect fit to the size or they use an infill.
You can actually buy the infill panels from the UK as they have Vans with no windows.

Good luck & when done get some photo's.

    Cheers

Look up a company called Lowline, they may be able to help.

I worked there many years ago and we used to do all those sort of different things but I dont know if they still do that sort of thing now days.

03 97613066 I think......thats straight from memory so may be wrong.
