    Ripped my dacks again!

    .........VERY SERIOUS POST.........
I dont know if its just me (i hope not) but i have just torn my 6th set of pants after they catch on the door lock when i jump into my defender.
is this a common problem and how do i stop doing it, they seem to catch on the belt loop or Pocket.

G'day All, Well you blokes must be bigger than me, I'm about 5' 3" just a tad overweight 78kg approx, and having owned a 110 County since 1991 I have never caught any article of clothing on the vehicle fixtures, what gets up my nose is the misssus when she gets out of the lhs, she will let the door go and on occassions jams the seatbelt in the lock of course I say quietly dear, dont let that happen anyway looking forward to rippin my daks one day LOL cheers Dennis

The worst thing about an anti burst door latch. My 120" got me twice in the 1st week after a got it. I've never been caught by a series with similar door latch. As others say there is a technique in getting in and out of these things. After you rip a few more you will master it

How I stop it is drive my Rangie

Yep - I thought it was a myth until recently - but then I took out a belt loop on a pair of shorts and to tell you the truth - I was a proud man! I'd been "Defended".

Well I have had a few close calls, but no actual damage. I think it's because most of my pockets are the high, jeans type, not baggy open ones that you can easily put your hands in. I also sit with my seat fairly far forward even though I am 6'.
