    Thanks!!!

Firstly thanks to you all for your valuable input.

I have priced the Front Runner 45 Lt tank from a couple of places around Brisbane. The prices varied between $875 and over $1,000 for supply only...

I then sent an E-mail to the company in South Africa asking if they would sell to me direct. They said that they would and the cost would be about $280 Australian dollars for the tank and a delivery of about $80 by surface (3-5 weeks) or $220 by air, (3-4 days).

I think that this is a gret price so i have asked for the pricing for a water tank and some heavy duty plastis boxes, but...
I am still unsure if our government will impose import taxes?

Does anyone have any ideas as to where i can buy some of these heavy duty plastic boxes locally?

    Thanks again for your input.

    Cheers, Alex.

Dolium in WA import the Front Runner equipment. As for importing, if the cost is under AU$1000 then you are OK. If not you'll be hit with duty and handling fees.

Also have a look at the security box they make for under the cubby box.

Let us know how cheap you get your water tank. I got a price O.R.E in Myaree and they quoted me $140 for the Front RUnner water tank, but I think this was a stuff up, because typically they retail around the $450-500 mark...

I will let you know as soon as I get a response from South Africa, as to the costs.

I am concerned that the security box may lift the centre console too much and may interfere with the transfer gear stick... Any experience with this?

    Thanks, Alex.
