I fitted one to the 110 this weekend. Tried one of those wireless ones and they were crap. Well for a 110 they were.

Bought a kit from Ebay for $100. And fitted it on saturday and it is great . Have a round camera which is the same sort as Dullbirds one. So it has infa red. The chap on Ebay does loads of differant types of screens. I went for a 3.5" screen. But can get the ones where the screen is in the rear view mirror

Here is the chaps store on Ebay

Pardon my ignorance but if the laptop runs the software and the touchscreen is a monitor/GPS display then where is the bit that reads the satellites

Guys thanks for the pics, its given me some ideas,

DB, how do you go with the "off center" position? can you judge your position when reversing so you don't hit stuff?

I run a GPS mouse (an older version of this one). It's a GPS receiver that spits NMEA-0184 strings to the USB port which Ozi then reads in. It has a magnetic base that sticks to the roof rack.

The screen is a 7" touch screen which doubles as a GPS screen (connected to a laptop mounted on the cargo barrier running OziExplorer)

brought one the same here in New Zealand with the rear view mirror as the monitor works great
    was a mongoose brand

Much the same arrangement on my old County.

It also was a touch screen with Discover Aus run thru a laptop. Unfortunately the on off button on the screen died & it became one of those "must fix it" jobs.

What brand did you buy? Did you install yourself or the supplier? Where is the monitor?

Ours is Alpine camera coupled with a Alpine D100 head unit. It is 1 unit high so it is a straight swap for the oem stereo. The screen is 7" and is a multi function display. Radio, CD/DVD, GPS, iPod and of course the reversing camera. It also has the neat feature that no matter what you have selected on the screen, when you put the car in reverse it overrides the screen and put the source to camera. Very compact do all set up.

    Cheers,

thiink they all do that...ours does as well.

BUT ours is not branded oh and you can rotate ours too so when it goes into reverse. you can set it up so, when you select reverse, not only does the reversing camera come on if you haven't got the screen out it comes out and then rotates around to the driver...for better viewing
