I find this thread a little strange given that LR Marketing has touted the speed of the air con cooling the cabin as an improvement over prior models.
Does anyone have a problem cooling down when actually selecting a cold setting?
My wife feels the cold badly and the other night she cranked the dial all the way round to full hot. OMG! I thought my shoes were melting and my eyeballs felt like they were on fire. The driver's side vent conveniently points straight at your left hand on the wheel and I think my wedding ring liquified. Surely Land Rover have used some type of plastic developed by NASA to cope with the nuclear heat it produces.
Yes, three clicks from cold is sufficient warmth in my opinion.

If you recall the marketing on the Puma mentioned an improvement of 40% in cooling and 30% in heating. Personally I still miss the windscreen vent's but I can't actually complain about either the A/C or the heaters abilities.

I'll repeat the last bit: 30% more effective in heating
They didn't say it was 30% better only 30% more effective. So I guess that's why it seems to act as a blast furnace at full flow
Nobody else has mentioned how the driver's foot vent opens on to the hand brake and heats it up so that even after you turn the floor vents off there's a nice metal radiator next to your left leg for the next 200km.

sorry derek I really have no bloody idea what relevance this has to whether peoples heater are slow reacting???????
unless your referring to the comment above about the aircon and the marketing which still has no relevance to this thread.
I'm getting very confused

You know the only thing I don't like is that it's not really possible to avoid hot air in the face. I like to have warm feet and a nice cool breeze on my face. there's no option for feet only like for example a Disco.
