Hi db,ours seems fine
Guys
with those of you that have a puma when using the heater do you find the temperature is really slow to react when turned up or down? or you find yours ok?
ours is really slow.....I find it strange as my disco which is now 13 years old when I change the dial the temp changes instantly providing the engine is warm

we often find that when we are cold we turn the heater up by the time its up we are hot so turn it down a fraction it doesn't go down quick enough, so turn it down a fraction again to the point when it does react we are to bloody cold and have to start turning it up a fraction again.....
you cant just set and forget if that makes sense you have to constantly adjust it.

Yeh its a juggling act, usually way too hot for me. By the time i've moved it to the cold zone it takes a while to react.
Yes it is slow to act but no more so than I've ever found with a heater control of this sought. The Disco (especially D2a) climate control spoilt us I think.
That said at least it does warm the cabin very well hen needed.

Mine does this too. I find that if I have the heater on demist and full hot, but then turn the thermostat to full cold, I need to run the AC to actually get cold air to come out of the vents!

I don't think I've ever had my one more than 3 clicks off cold, I find thats warm enough. I haven't had the courage to turn it all the way around to "full" hot yet, as I'm scared flames will actually come out of the vents!!
Cheers,
