    Hi there

it took around 8/9 months for the first puma 110 to come on the second hand market.....and a single cab 130 would be even rarer unless some big companies take them on like the mines etc which I doubt
Sorry to temporary hyjack this thread but....

For vehciles to have site compliance in the Mining Industry (Surface Vehicles) they must have air bags fitted......And I dont believe the defenders have them fitted.

Underground vehciles are currently exempt but unsure for how long.....so as for the Land Rover trying to break into a huge market in Australia they have some work to do...

Even Toyota is having trouble - as we now have on order over 300 toyotas but with the 6 cylinder diesel engines (as Toyota Japan is doing a special batch for Mining Industry)

    All the best

    Wayne

that's exactly why I wrote I doubt it
I'm fully aware they need air bags...my pointing being unless someone from the big industries takes on this particular type of defender he wont find them flooding the market...especially when it took a normal 110 8/9 months to get on
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    Hi Scott,

I bought a single cab 130 in 2003 which was an ex Land Rover Australia vehicle, it was registered in NSW and used by them for 12 months and had 9000k's on the clock. They sold it to a LR dealer in Bunbury WA. I found it on the internet and brought it back to NSW. It cost $44000 plus stamp duty. I think a new one was about $52000 on road at the time. http://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/smilies/smile.gif

Really Scott, I would be surprised if Landcruisers have better resale. I would hang in there if I were you. There's a lot more life left in your 130 and its resale will still be good in a couple of years time. You know you don't want a Landcruiser.
