Well one thing seems obvious today as I had lunch at Avoca Beach. There were two ships waiting offshore of Avoca Beach for entry into Newcastle with say an estimated 20 or so North of them, Maybe more.. maybe some to the south but I couldn't see .
The Chinese are sure buying our coal.

Without coal sales,QLD would be broke.

I worked at Hay pt,just south of Mackay,quite a few years ago.
The set up loading Coal onto carriers was amazing,even in those days.
The plant ran 24/7.

The whole country would be broke without coal. Those bucket wheel coal loaders can bury a pyramid in a day.

All this being said, the stone age didn't end because we ran out of stones, something better came along.

And long dead trees into warmth and cooking for those who don't have it, which could be us if we keep going down this path.

I remember thinking about this when the cry was Stop Adani. The coal from Adani would fuel India and Africa, but why should they get what we have? I'm all right, Jack.
