    If possible, the EU is even more corrupt than the UN. And the member states are looking wistfully at the life they had before Brussels went mad. Net Zero is collapsing, but the ABC won't tell you that. Just like the BBC, they are no longer to be trusted.

    Well one thing seems obvious today as I had lunch at Avoca Beach. There were two ships waiting offshore of Avoca Beach for entry into Newcastle with say an estimated 20 or so North of them, Maybe more.. maybe some to the south but I couldn't see .
    The Chinese are sure buying our coal.

    Without coal sales,QLD would be broke.

    I worked at Hay pt,just south of Mackay,quite a few years ago.
    The set up loading Coal onto carriers was amazing,even in those days.
    The plant ran 24/7.

    The whole country would be broke without coal. Those bucket wheel coal loaders can bury a pyramid in a day.

    All this being said, the stone age didn't end because we ran out of stones, something better came along.

    Coal is just solar power stored via photosynthesis so why not cut out the bit in the middle and use the solar straight out of the panels. Speaking of cutting out steps Africa and India can cut out all the generation and transmission infrastructure and just use the power where it is produced by wind and solar on site. Just like in parts of the world where people skipped the bronze age and went straight to the iron age from the stone age. I have no doubt that there were naysayers saying it's too dangerous to produce tools using fire for melting metal instead of just chipping away at rocks.
