It's called '4 Lions' a British comedy directed by Christopher Morris that is quite confrontational. As i said, not to everyones tastes but it looks quite funny to me.

Quote taken from a review site of the movie - "Four Lions tells the story of a group of British jihadists who push their abstract dreams of glory to breaking point."

I can't believe that no one has mentioned that classic Australian horror that we almost lost.
Jack Thompson's first role, Chips Rafferty's last.

    Wake in Fright

And shame on you all. It has a Landrover in it.

A few of my favorite Australian movies are: (These are based on good story, creativeness, good acting, beautiful scenery).

"Babe", a really cute animal story for the whole family. Having kids helps.
"The Dish", has been mentioned before.
"Galipoli", a classic piece of cinema.
    "Breaker Morant", again a classic.
If you want a scary/creapy one, "Wolf Creek". Had to stop watching, as we were heading outback for a camping trip.
"Kenny" The life of a plumber.
"Chopper" based on Mark "Chopper" Read's life. (A criminal in Melbourne)
"Sampson and Delilah" Story of 2 Aboriginal youths.
"Spotswood" Anthony Hopkins, and Russel Crow, in a low budget Australian film.

    Cheers,
    Ken

It certainly did deserve a mention. It appears you and I had the same thought, but you were a bit quicker off the mark. Note the times the posts were submitted.

I will just have to type faster in future.
