seen em all, got em all, got all the games including the text adventure.

they should have stopped before the latest movie.

and as a bonus Ive got the first and second release versions of the first one.

Ignoring the director cut type stuff, does anyone know the difference between the first and second releases of the first resident evil movie?

Awesome..I don't have any of the games as I still have an ancient PS2

yeah the last one retribution was not as scary as Alice did not have as many fights by herself....and we were told right at the beginning by Luther West what was going to happen so lost a bit of suspense because of that..

the first of the games were PS, they were the craze when I was posted up in darwin and I was the popular kid on the block because I had internet access and could get the herb combos for the formulas and the correct formulas to use on the beasties.

    The games preceded the movies.

    still doesnt answer the questions

what was the difference between the first and second releases of the original movie? (and not the directors cut version.)

I like the movies for a few reasons.
    1. Mila Jokovich in tight/no clothing
    2. Fighting zombies
Put them together and it's good enough for me
Other than that the last few have been decidedly average, although the dude who died from being chainsawed by a russian soldier zombie was rather spectacular.
Loved most of the games, some are a bit ech.

    Absolutely!

Yes, have them all, loved them all, though I agree the last few having been dragging it out a bit...

I'm rather fond of Underworld for similar reasons

Sorry Dave, can't help with the 1st/2nd release differences.

    Cheers
