I didn't realise Sorrentos were dual range - was surprised when they said they needed a proper 4wd with low range to go to Sandy Cape and they hopped into a Kia to go.

When we were up at Fraser in September we tried to help a poor family in a stuck Sorento. He couldn't get up to a camp site due to the soft sand.

Short of me towing them and their trailer there was no chance of it getting through the soft stuff.

It was funny when he accidentally left it in drive while it was stuck - only 1 front wheel was turning.

Saw it again on Saturday, was doing the Flinders Ranges and Skytrek. Not a bad show.

Sponsored by Nissan now, which i dont mind, but they go way over the top with product placement.

As opposed to any other similarly themed show/mag yada yada yada?? ... no placement = no sponsor = no money.
