One of my mates had a very rare WT 1.3 LWB, A FACTORY LWB!

My parents bought a 1.3 narrow track LWB new back in '84 and put one of those popemobile canopies on it. They were hopeless (the canopy not the car). The car would move as the chassis flexed and being 1 piece the canopy would not. Flogged out the holes in the windscreen frame where it attached.
I still love my Lj It out performs the 130 (in offroad conditions only of course, though it is registered) in all conditions except deep water, but has virtually no other uses other than offroading for fun. I built it years ago and have been tempted to sell it to build a series/rangie hybrid but it's just so much fun.

I loved my lwb Suzuki but unfortunately rust eventually got the better of it . I put a 2 litre injection motor in it and it was quite a formidable machine off road. It was pretty rapid on road too I'd certainly buy another if I could find one at the right price
