Thread: Post your birdlife shots

My first post to this wonderful thread, I got the chance to take pictures of two large flocks of cranes with the second one flying quiet low.

Sure the pictures are not of the quality of the masters of the thread but the importance is to participate.

I was using the EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM L for the majority of the pictures but had to use my old 75-300mm zoom lens to get the close-ups.

Your comments are very welcomed.

Patrick the exposure is very good and the details are an easy fix just go a get a $10000 600mm lens

Humm for this bargain price I will buy two.

Until I receive my two ordered 600mm I had to use my old 75-300 mm in order not to miss the opportunity of capturing this group of colorful European bee-eaters.

Most of the birds we get the chance to see are migrating birds.

The last image was with in range of the lens, it is nice and sharp were it is important in avian photography, the eye and beack.
Nice job mate, keep with it, I do not have a 600 or 400 for that matter and do not give up

I am very sorry but the last picture is not mine, I forgot to mention it in my previous post. I added it to show the beauty of bird.
