    Sigma 10-20mm 3.5 DC HSM

Got to play with my birthday present this morning. I'm not a fan of fish eye close ups, instead I wanted this lens to do landscapes where I wouldn't need to stitch images together.

Here's my first attempts taken with my Canon 500D at Wellington Point in Brisbane this morning. 'twas a bit fresh too

There's a bit of curvature on the horizon which I haven't tried to straighten.

$665 (+ $45 freight) online from DWI in HK. Was quoted > $1000 locally. Be aware the faster f3.5 is the newer model (which is what I've got), the older F4-5.6 is cheaper.

What got me hooked was (were? Where's Ron when you need him?) the pics here Flickr: Sigma 10-20mm
