I found this poor little lizard on our lawn at Bakers Hill in West Australia the other morning. Looks like a cat or fox had caused the damage, & so far my research has not discovered what sort of lizard it is. I've seen them around before & thought initially that it was a small snake as they slither around rather snake like, but closer inspection of this one does reveal some small legs:

Thanks BSF & Deano, that makes perfect sense as we have lots of Blue Tongues on the property, but they are all big & much darker in colour - never thought of babies! Duh
