And unless it has been reset I'm guessing this was the 42nd photo taken with the camera.

Save the photo to your PC then right click on the file and choose properties then details.

yeah I know about looking at the data but not going to the trouble of downloading a pic that I can just ask about

    Thanks everyone.

    What inspirational photos

I think I'll have to divert some of my Land Rover funds for a good camera.

dullbird, Thanks for the compliment. There is a lot of nice sceenery up here in the Kimberly and some wonderfull sunset during the wet season.

Bushie was correct I have a D80 with a 18-200mm VR lens and settings were as 300+ said, although it was the 42nd shot on that day.

I ended up taking over 200 shots over a two day camping trip, and got those two good ones, but I think that they were worth it.

Thank you for the post. Can you repost it with a large image instead of the thumb nail?

[QUOTE=Numpty's Missus;923444]Thought I'd share this one with you
Taken at Birdsville by one of our travelling companions on our Hay River Trip in 2006

    I like it

And you should! it is a very nice image with beautiful light. Good composition with the aircraft on one side and the light on the other.

This shot was taken near the mounth of the Kolan River, Qld.
The morning was something special for photography because the window of natural light was very long caused by the clouds coming from the east. I managed to take several shots for about 15 minutes.

Nikon D200, Tokina 12-23, Manfrotto tripod and ballhead.
