I've even hacked one up and fitted it inside the rear door of a D1, I still need to work on the support for the pots but as an interum for jaffles and a quick cook up its pretty hard to beat.
We bought a 2 burner butane cooker a while back and use it fairly regularly. The butane cans don't perform well in the cold but do a great job when it's warm. The main annoying thing for me was trying to get the billy boiling on a cold morning. The trick seems to be to stick a can of butane in a stobby cooler berfore you go to bed. It usually keeps the can warm enough overnight to get the billy going the next morning.
More an observation that anything else is that the cans cool down when they are being used. So the 'warmer' they are when you start using them the better they seems to work.

If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
We've ended up with two cookers depending on what we are doing.
For coffee and single pan cooking we use a 250g iso butane/propane mix canister with a folding screw on burner.
I'm not sure where we go the one we have now but it's similar in design to this:
Power 101 Mini Camping Burner by Oz-mate
For longer trips we've switched to using Coleman LPG canisters: ColemanĀ® Lightweight LPG Bottle on a Coleman two burner stove.
The canisters are small enough to easily fit in the rear bins of the D2, and we seem to get about get 2-3 days out of a bottle depending on use.
cheers
