On my centre pole I bought a kit which allows two poles to go down the side. No single beds in mime and Loads of room!

    Hope that helps!

I think the closest one is Townsville in QLD or Mile End in SA. Either are about 3,500km

But they can be well priced. Also worth checking Ray's Outdoor as they will match Anaconda I found when I was in Melbourne the other month.

times 3 Mrs ho har ! There's a lot of dust between Derek & his nearest camping supplier. (Not counting Mitre 10 at Gove...for obvious reasons).

    Cheers Erich

(PS. Just a thought Derek, Amazon are just down the road from us and they'll freight camping equipment to remote areas. Might be worth checking their website as they sell a lot of Oztrail gear - not sure about Black Wolf though - we've always found their prices quite good).

ho har has suggested that you are more likely to have a real Anaconda

up there in Nulumbuy than the store

We have one of those canvas centre pole tents. It's pretty quick to put up and we manage to get our double swag onto one side of the centre pole and keep the other side for any gear we need to be stored. (Nice and cosy for us too!) The coach camping tours used to use them and sometimes would squeeze four into the tent - 2 either side of the pole...a bit of a tight fit but if you were REALLY close friends I suppose it'd be OK They are pretty tough tents tho', we've had ours for over 10 years. Saying that, some of the newer ones are fantastic and really quick to put up as well.

    Cheers, Mrs. Bundalene

No but we have these and, whilst they are cute, I would not want one in a tent with me

Handsome fellow he is. It's the little critters that can get into tents that worry me! Eg: Spiders We stayed in a room at a country pub on the way home a couple of weeks ago and I woke up half way through the night with some little something crawling in bed....
Boy, did I get out of there in a hurry. It was....a rather large cockroach
Needless to say I didn't get much more sleep that night and will CERTAINLY avoid that particular establishment in the future!
    Erich thought it was hilarious!

I have a turbo 240 black wolf & was using it on Fraser Island during the severe weather conditions last christmas - 90kph winds & sideways rain, it coped extremely well. It fits nicely behind my front seats in the Disco, is practical in design & user ability, under 10 minutes to set up, but takes some practice to put away for infrequent users. After sales service is known to be excellent. I'd recommend them as a great tent.
