Hub oil level plug - Square drive

Hi, does anybody know what tool I can use to remove the square drive plugs to check the front hub oil levels on an 85RRC? The seals need doing at some stage in the near future, but I just want to make sure they have enough oil in them until I get around to this.

Also, is there anything to watch out for when replacing the seals, so I can keep them leak proof for a while?

    Thanks - Gav

Tried that, but they are recessed almost entirely into the hub, so you can't get a good grip on them...

AFAIR its a 1/4 AF open end spanner for the level plug 1/2 up the swivel.

Just use a socket extension bar of the appropiate size upside down with a spanner on the square drive
