I don't often post on here anymore these days and this thread is not a feel good thread or maybe I've have had too many scotchesbut that's what my house mate said few days ago when I towed his broken down Nisstota Van to Georg'es wreckers in prioneer avenue

And this is the reason why I can't bring myself to selling this vehicle![]()
it has been the most reliable vehicle next to my 300 tdi disco I have ever owned. It is also the reason why I took it off the market.![]()
The Vehicle starts everytime and keeps on going and i can't seem to kill the 3.9 v8 no mater how hard i tried. He also said if he had the ca$h he would buy the vehicle and imagined himself driving it in outback with the range rover.![]()

Glad to hear it serves you well.
Not a reverse sales tactic by any chance?![]()
I once had a RRC 85 that was so reliable, my mechanic told me its the best one to ever go through his workshop.
It was so good, it was boring and I sold it.
Went to a collector near Keith. He still emails me to tell me how its going.
Got to love the fanatics
I'm pretty sure that's not the reason why you sold the vehicle , this to me seems like a new concept that if a car is so boring then you sell itif this logic was true then all Toymota owners would be selling their Boring white goods and buying a vehicle with character and Soul , ie a landrover .

Hey Khos,
Glad to hear you took the rangie off the market, its a nice truck and i know you would have always regretted letting it go. Also it would have been a shame not to see it back out on the beach again some time
Funny you mention the Toyota "white goods", i drive the Prado everyday as you know, its not a bad truck, but i never get that feeling that i NEED to take it for a drive like i do my county or even when i had my old disco. If my prado got sold tomorrow(not happening because tash wont let me) i would gladly let it go without another thought of it and go and purchase a nice new defender or disco, Where as its been 3-4 years since i had the D2 and still constantly think about it and miss driving it.....
I had a 93 Vogue as well, also for me the best rangie I have owned by far but sadly lost mine to a rollover. I've had a few Rangie classics since but it's never been the sameI wouldn't sell it, you'll regret it.
RIP Aquarangie
Trav
Agreed. Definitely a shame not to see it again on stockton up/down the big sand dunesI can hear the V8 Roar up the Big Bowl
, but seriouslty I will probably eventually pass it on as you know I can't hold both vehicles I commute by trains to work every day so the 4bys only get driven on weekends.
I do remember that rangerover well, you HAD done a lot of work to that vehicle .shame about the rollover accident thou.
This vehicle has served me well. Mick has been for a drive with me on stockton in his Playdo and the wholetime I drove on the beach in High range, never went into 4wd.It has a Defender LT230 transfer case and rear Maxi-Drive.![]()
PhewI'm glad you came to your sense here
After the demise of Matt and JC's rangies it would be sad to lose another one
May the Rangie live on with pride
And yes, you have been bitten by the bug![]()
