LSD, locker or what for '93 rear axle?
Notwithstanding my transfer case problems I've started thinking about a rebuild for the rear diff anyway. So knowing there's a fuel injected 351 in it's future which LSD,locker or other should I think about? Should I just go for one of those KAM 4pin open diffs? afterall it's supposed to have traction control on the rear.
Is there any way to tell whether I have a 24 or 10 spline rear end without pulling the whole thing apart?

I personally would go for a Jacmac and their axles.
How hard is it to pull one rear axle and have a look at the splines.
If you are putting a 351 in, I doubt a 24 spline would last long.

Thanks Phil,
Who has jacmac gear?
It wouldn't be difficult to rip an axle out but if there is a way to tell without doing this, I would prefer that.
Are the 24 spline jobs still quite weak?

Sorry, just a question aswell;
In regards to Lockers etc, how does the ETC on the rear axle in the 93's compare to a LSD/locker? would it be better just to get LSD/locker for the front and use ETC for the rear?
Cheers

well a locker is goning to be softer on the rear axels then tc, but a lsd with tc is still very good, tc on its own is never gona be on par with a locker or a good tight lsd,
i have a arb locker,
i realy like the tru track lsd, its a gear lsd so theres no clutchs to ware out,, its set and forget, and like half price of say a arb locker,, mine cost 1100 new,
