    Brake fluid flush...

    Hi,

I'm going to be doing a brake fluid flush on my 1990 Vogue. How much fluid is required and will dot 4 be OK? Any particular brand best or to steer clear of?

Anything else I should be aware of or take into consideration?

    Cheers.

    Castrol technical response

Castrol advises that since the demise of GTLMA brake fluid, their suggested replacement is Castrol Response Super Dot4.

Any DOT4 will do. I try to pick one that is a different colour than what is in it , so I know when the new stuff is coming through. Recently I have used the Supercheap SCA as it is yellow not green.
Be careful if you plan a pressure bleed as it may **** out of the rubber mount for the reservoir .
