Also is this a LPG processor unit that you are referring to?

60 litres of gas. I know how much 60 litres is. It's what the pump reads when the tank is full. A 75 litre (water capacity) tank will legally be full at 80% fill level which happens to be 60L. Water capacity (WC) is stamped on the tank's ID plate, it's not a matter of guesswork.

Yes that is a fuel processor suitable for one of the slowest gas sytems known to mankind, the Impco system. Due to the construction of the Impco mixer, you need so much more throttle to get moving, your vacuum advance winds off sooner so you will always get worse economy with it. However a processor may help a little with economy.

Might have to change my gas set up. I have Impco. I heard it was not very good, but sometimes you can't believe everything you hear.

I'll ask the gas bloke when I get it inspected and tuned what he could do for me in regards to the poor mixer. Thanks again.

Mine is a 23yo impco but still gives better fuel consumption in my 101 than in your RR but mine is set up right.

I had an impco 300a mixer with model L converter on my 81 rangie, 4spd with 31/10.5's and regularly got 350 klms per 70ltrs of lpg or 5klms/ltr around town and 6klms/ltr on the highway. 350 holley and a bosch dizzy running 10 degrees BTDC timing. I tried twin mixers on strombergs but i couldnt get running right so went back to the impco.

When Beeutey put LPG on my 94 3.9 I got about 290k's highway out of 57-58 L of LPG.

50k later its down to about 225k's. Nothings been adjusted, it got new plugs and rotor a while back. So I guess mines running low 20's per hundred LPG.

Similar to my POS. (350, big Impco convertor) About 220 running around, 250 on a trip from 58l. I know it should do a bit better, but not a burning issue.

    cheers, DL

    Interesting about the impco, thanks.

Loaded on the newell we would get 420 -430 consistantly from 75 litres. That was a lorato covertor.
