    Two Door carpet Anyone interested?

    Hi All,

Check out Rimmer brothers in UK

From memory they used to sell retrim upholstery sets for 2 door classics and carpet to match original upholstery colours, but that was a while back.

Not sure how pricing stacks up but worth an email enquiry.

    Cheers

    No they don't any more.

They do sell the rest of the interior trim, if you can stand the pain of freight.

    Cheers,
    Richard

I bought a full set of door trims and the trims behind the seat on the quarter panel. Took a long time to sort, their supplier continually failed them.
    No fault of theirs.
Also have a full set of seat cover trim in what was called their "deluxe" cloth.
It's half vinyl with a brown cloth insert. Not original, though of excellent quality. It is the set shown on the icon Rimmers use for their seat cover sets.

    Cheers,
    Richard

Thanks, I can always give them a try.
The freight from the UK is very expensive, unfortunately.
Will update when I contact them.

True but I've bought all my spares from the UK and have found, even with the freight, they are cheaper than buying them locally.

Unfortunately, nationwidetrim in the UK are unable to supply the correct colour, or even one that's close, and the material is different. None of the original stuff is available, in either colour or material.

The same goes for headlinings and headlining material in the beige, for those interested. This is with regard to the 2 doors and 4 doors which have beige.

The fella who runs nationwidetrim.com is a really honest, upfront bloke who spent the time on the phone with me to explain that if I were seeking a perfect match for either the carpet or the headlining, it couldn't happen.

Hopefully this info will help anyone who, like me, has been knocking themselves out trying to source and purchase the right stuff.

Apologies to have taken so long to chase all this down, life got in the way.

    Cheers,
    Richard

I recently purchased a full interior set from Nationwide Trim, for my 73RRC. Trevor was very helpful. Price was steep once GST and customs paid, plus dropping exchange rate. I am yet to fit it, but happy to show anyone local if they are interested, before buying. Appreciate that colours are not exact, but with a full car set, the result will be a vast improvement.

    Cheers,

    Phil
