Apparently spend $10's of thousands of dollars.
Actually I have no idea, they wouldn't say, and guessing they won't unless you give them your cheque book

Do people actually buy that stuff?

Give a workshop $50k+ and I'm sure they will build you a nice rig.

LRA do things the right way and pride themselves on building trucks that are safe. Engineers can up the GVM. Depending on what has already been done to your existing build to strengthen it, it might not cost that much. Most expensive part may be the swerve/brake test etc

So how is your one going?

I'm a bit leary on the safety side of a lifted truck with 35" rubber and enough power to get 50% over the speed rating on those 35's. But that's a story for another day.

Never had that problem, Andrew is an extremely busy guy, however will give u the time of day if you are a genuine potential customer, however if you dont intend on being a paying customer its probably best to speak to an engineer or do your own research for obvious reasons, awesome you got your rig sorted tho!

The build is going well, thanks, quality is amazing!

As for safety, Im more than happy to drive a 4by built by LRA anywhere in OZ thats been successfully swerve and brake tested with 210L of fuel and weight of 5 people at 110kph on 35s.
Top speed, as you know just about every 4by you buy today has a high top speed, if you do choose to exceed the speed limit or tyre max speed , its up to the owner and you run the risk of dealing with the consequences, its still a safe car. Im sure LRA would put a speed limiter in there for you if you felt it was unsafe to have so much potential under foot
