Hi I am not quite sure what parts you are referring to. Normally the seat bases remain as part of transmission tunnel, and don't need removing. The seats slide off by removing front bolt in channel, removing spring that is underneath seat base that helps slide it back, then slide whole seat forward, off runners. These are rollers and square blocks in diagram that fit to pins on vertical piece of steel, top of seat base. Then, when transmission tunnel is removed for gearbox removal etc, the seat bases and transmission tunnel come out as one piece.
The only bolts I have ever removed from seat base were ones that bolt to outer edges of seat base to floor, and along outer edges on inside of seat base. The others, remain as part of transmission tunnel. If these are ones you are referring to, I suspect due to location that you have to remove transmission tunnel to access these. Someone else may know for sure. Do you still have all rollers and square blocks etc after 15 years? If you do great job!![]()
