"reading comments on the full version of the video, he snapped the front right axle after the first bounce and then the distributor cap came loose leaving the car in that situation...immobile, and in 3wd"
Dunno how they would know the distributer cap came loose, everything would be loose after that type of roll.
Stalling a manual would be very easy in that situation.
none of the beads were broken before rolling, if you turn up the volume at 1.22 you can here him cranking the engine which wont start.
the decent on that hill is very steep with the passenger side rear wheel going up the embankment with the drivers side rear dropping into the rut as he went back = well watch from 1.22
I bet the spotter wished he'd just hooked up the winch cable to be safe...

Going too fast coming up with both wheels off the ground and then he landed and slid sideways. Needed TC or a rear locker I reckon.

Correct me if I'm miss ng something, but does not the strength of a Rangie / Classic display in it's abillity to sure-footedly crawl up such terrain?
No offence or 'armchair-judgement' implied, - but, I get the impression that starring in a Spectacular Video was driving the right foot more than the owner's mind was.
On the bright side, the audience certainly got its money's worth...
And we've had a good lesson reinforced, so 'thanks' to the participants !
The Lady Sarah, '95 Classic with working air suspension...
That was a good attempt, maybe a bit heavy footed but nothing too crazy.
Definitely was time for the winch to be utilised thou!
Hopefully all involved were ok?

I would be taking a guess that the vacuum ran out in the booster and that's why he rolled back on the brakes.

Poor bugger trashing his pride and joy like that. An accident that anyone could have had, and one he was lucky to walk away from.
Cheers
