Pulled the hand brake off and it was covered in dirt and oil so going to clean it. It's not engaged in diff lock. It's like something jamming then freeing up as if it were gears it would be grinding and crunching but when it does it it stops. Prol shafts are fine diffs look good. So why I suspected hand brake pads sticking or loose otherwise axle snapped

Wouldn't be a wheel bearing grabbing would it?

When mine went, it was like the brakes where coming on and then releasing.

It wouldn't be a badly worn "A"frame ball joint gummed up with mud that lets go every now and again?

New issue driving along and started to konk out like running out of gas. But based off me odo I should still have 200 Ks left. Got it to a servo filled up only 30l and driving home started again. Popped bonnet and was like it was snowing. See pic.

I'm guessing it's leaking but is this a easy swap out and fix or should I upgrade the whole system or otherwise call it a day and move on to another Rangie.

I know bugger all about LPG installations ... but i can guarantee you have no coolant flow through that converter, so it's turning to a block of ice. You MUST have good coolant flow through a converter or it'll ice up almost immediately. You end up with ice all over the fittings just filling BBQ bottles.

Fill and bleed the coolant system on the car ............................ and make sure the the converter isn't "T"d into the coolant system downstream of the thermostat
