My old 81 2dr rangie would get 21mpg after the mods i did - 350 holley, scorcher ignition, ported heads.

its a shame none of the modern diesels are integrated iwth there electronics ... so we can just move them into a range rover classic by move the wiring harness and computers with them. A range rover classic would be magic with the citroen/poogoe/land rover V6 diesel fitted (yes that dinosaur that is fitted to the ford territory... so should be available in all of the wrecking yards).

anything can be done if yu have the money ..... i bet it wasn't using the Ford wirign loom and computer! It would have been an expensive aftermarket system to control the auto and engine

Well come to a MAJOR decision. The Mercedes seats are awesome but I can’t get them low enough with cutting into the transmission tunnel. Which is mint, rare and I shouldn’t cut up. Soooo have decided to reclaim my original seats, re trim nicely etc. the merc seats will go back on fleabay. Sorry Mercguy/Pedro but to make them work right I have to damage too much original stuff. So a delay- and $$ though the merc seats should sell as now anyone can use them 77 Update
