Looks good Baggy enjoyed the ales the other night. How's the cowl over the instrument panel, just happen to have a later style cowl in mint shape sitting at home.
Grumbles - Shes not too bad ...has a nice 3.9V8 which is on petrol and gas although it has developed a misfire when running on gas every so often
I've posted a query on LPG forum and my next move will be to take it to a LPG installer for a service and once over.
The air suspension has been removed but the coils used do give a a nice ride compared to my 2 door which has a lift and heavier springs.
I'm hoping SWMBO will allow me to keep it as a tourer with the 2 door being a Sunday drive .....well thats the plan.
Meccles - It was great catching up and the beers did go down well.
Always good to be able to put a face to the posts ......your 2 door will be an excellent example once on the road and will be a wolf in sheep clothing
The cowl on the 92 looks to be in good shape ......thanks for the offer.
Keep the post coming on your build and look forward in seeing its progress.
Since the photo's I've put my turbine mags and tyres from my 2 door on the 92 as the originals were worn and needed replacing.
Those wheels are now on the 2 door and are 16 inch rims and I have to admit they do look good on the 2 door.
Need to hunt out a spare rim would be the go.....
Cheers

Two Rangies in the driveway Baggy.....and all is right with the world and just the way things should be .![]()
Hi Grumbles
Must be catching the bug from this site
When you look at the number of vehicles listed on some of our members avitars
two landies pale in number.
Credit goes to the misses for allowing me to purchase this one ....I believe Im slowly
wearing her down but won't push my luck with any more.
Having a 2 door and a 4 door I am indeed a lucky man
Cheers

... Keep on reminding Her Inside, just how fortunate you are in being married to such a Wonderful Woman...and I can see a 3rd RR on your horizon.![]()
Geez Superquag, I don't know about that!!!!!
Owning one already requires an endless supply of time, money and an understanding partner.
Owning more than one and I seriously think you'd want to seek psychiatric counsel.
Then again, I'm sure many would be quite happy to be known as 'landy nutcases'
I was already a nutcase when I bought my 5th MB. Getting rid of 2 and buying an RRC did nothing to cure the madness I can assure you.
It has hurt the bank balance more than I'd have liked...

Yeah I have to have a balance... I actually have a whole bank a/c dedicated specifically to the merc's, because you just never know what kind of horrendous bill you are going to get when something goes wrong. I ensure it stays in the black - well it dosn't have a 'red' because if it costs more than what's in the a/c it has to wait.
The RRC was added to that a/c. It was a big mistake. I should have created a separate a/c for the RRC. Why? because it has nearly bled the merc a/c dry.
and there is still more to do. But it will have to wait. there are things that cost $$$$ which are on that list of 'things to do', which will simply have to wait until funds are suitably restored.
