Superquag as much as I love Rangies three would give my misses legal presidence for commital and permanent incarseration by the authorities.
Maybe that's what she's angling for .....
I suppose that all Rangies being unknown quantities need work to give them some reliability.
So far I've replaced rear oil seal, had radiator repaired and serviced checked all fluid levels diffs and transfer case with drain and replacement when finances allow.
Did oil change / new oil filter and new air filter day after I picked her up.
As Mercguy and Grumbles have stated I make do on a shoe string budget however I will admit the generosity of members on AULRO is humbling.
Gavin has offered me a rolling chassis with a good 3.9 v8 on it which I will pick up shortly here in Perth.
I met him for the first time several weeks ago and I drove the new Rangie where the chassis is being stored.
He noticed the car was missing the plastic end caps on rear bumper and water washer bottle under my bonnet .....he walked into his shed and gave me both items.
He then said do you have a roo bar ....to which i replied no and pulled out a nice aluminium bar from behind his shed all for free.
I was absolutely gobsmacked.....
Then again all my dealings with Rangie owners have been a positive
Baggy

Yes, and it's refreshing to see some people still value kindness and generosity also.
