Awesome Rangie you got there.Says your running a Motec. What sort of mods have you done to the engine?
Cheers
Chris
Very nice Rangie, I just sold my Disco Tdi300 98 manual and bought a 1988 5sp 3.5FI Rangie. they are a beautiful machines and a lot of fun to prepare them.
Thanks guys, yes it a nice Rangie, drives very well with great road manners to get you into the bush, the Bilstein shocks are brilliant on this car and the way it has been set up.
I've had the car for three years and bought as is, not sure if engine has been tampered with but I am sure it is standard other than the Motech. They are expensive from what I gather and can be dialed with the right program & a laptop to give quite a performance boost...this car flies its very quick when needed, it's awsome off road...wlthough like all 4x4's once the sump hits rock bottom in the mud hole, its stuck like anything else only it gets further in.
I've been contemplating a sale to buy another project vehivle but I find it hard to think about so probably will hold on to it a little longer. My main touer is the Defender and that I'll keep until I can't drive anymore.
Thats the set up I want to have on mine eventually, very well done mate. If I didnt have mine, I certainly would be offering to buy it off you![]()
