The LRA flares have been knocked about during storage so will need to be painted Just have to decide if black or colour code with the Rangie.

I was hopeful the ARB front bar would lift with the LRA mounts.
One good thing about this site.... Plenty of threads on this topic with good pics so I should get it to all look OK
from Memory , there are spacer blocks that are engineered to lift your Bull Bar (That was the case with 300tdi Disco ) and there's brackets that bolt onto chassis , if you end you using these , it would mean you'll need to lift your Radiator up and will probably stress your cooler and Radiator Hoses , easiest is to just cut your mounting points on the ARB bar and lower it and weld it again. This way you don't have to modify your Radiator fan Shroud and it stays. I was Told you won't use all of what's in the lift kit, you'll probably have to make some adjustments yourself.

Re: LRA Flares , IMO they look nicer in Black Trim , as apposed to Colour code , but that's something personal.

I will have a close look at this before I rush into it. The radiator is going to a trusted radiator place to be cleaned and have the rod treatment if needed so will be out of the way.
My old 2 door has bar raised and radiator lowered but has a very rough body lift as not engineerable.

I've always said I'll find a way My best mate is very good with composite OR do I just spend the 2K I think this set up would help solve the reliability problems with roots style blowers and the Rover V8
I never thought of using composite as a housing. May be bad if we have a LPG backfire though

Had the Rangie out to day on a mates property and hit a rather immovable object in long grass at 60 kmh It was bad, The rangie bounced up and went side ways. we hit the roof and my tool box cleared the rear seat. I wont mention what happened to the beers
Now has clunk clunk noise in the front. About to take some measurements as concerned the chassis may be bent. The gaps look OK so I may be lucky. Stuffed an alloy rim

It was an out of use 6" steel cased water bore. Moved it 3" or more I wish people would mark hazards out sometimes The diff housing appears to be straight and tail shafts seem OK

I'm now bloody sore so it hit hard.

I'll put it up on stands tomorrow and have a good look wile in motion.

Just plumb bobbed the chassis and come with in less than 1/16 I'll explain the process latter.

Got to be lucky sometimes! I do have a spare D1 chassis here waiting for a new home...

    At it again!

Would this be worth it? Looks like it may squeeze under the blower.

    .... another

Just about the same cost as the Blower ... or half a Rangie ...

    Won't a air intercooler work??

We were cruising along in long grass on our way to check a water point and found a redundant water bore casing that was 14" out of the ground Did a bit of damage, stuffed a rim etc. The chassis survived thankfully

Air would work but be a engineering marvel to fit as the blower would have to be rotated 90 deg and some very fancy manifolds. Be no use with LPG Hence the air water that has bugger all displacement and will fit nicely between the blower and the manifold.
I just have a feeling it wont be happy with out the fridge due to the heat this style of blower makes with any deasent boost.
