Do you mean take them out with me etc....Thought has crossed my mind but three things prompt me from doing this sort of thing. Insurance,Time and mainly people out of control (Drinking to much etc) A bloke near here has had VIPs up a bit and they pay very well but can be scary. He asked me over to take them out shooting in the Tractor tyred 4.4 Rangie one night. I was glad when I got home

I guess with the right personality around it could be managed

    Tony,

I have a set of 2x40ltr sill tanks on my 86 RRC. I am planning to remove them (when I pull my finger out) and place them on the markets section, as I want to fit some rock sliders and my intended use will not require me to travel great distances between refuels.

If you are still interested in a set I can drop you a line when I get them out, or if you are in a hurry just let me know around when you think you will be needing them and Iwil lsee what I can go.

    Cheers

It's been an interesting few days here, Had some good rain, Bogged a 40ft semi and extracted it with the 120, Shot 25 more pigs, accidentally ran over a few as well, Split a steal hydraulic pipe on my JD 4200 back hoe, Buggered two 23-1.30 tractor tyres, Had the electric shift on a ATV fail still sorting it out $800 later,Had rats chew the wires of the scales on the feed mixer and that's only some of it

I had all good intentions of getting stuck into the work shop so the Rangie could move in but again didn't happen This happens every time.

Time is getting by on me now and this build is now on very thin ice I'm starting to get to a point in life where there is no time for such projects as this one let alone keep others here in service here. Also trying to renovate a pre world war two Homestead at the same time. It's a big job for a half arse carpenter like me

I'll throw in some pics but not of the build

Had to pull the guard off etc to get at the spool valve

    42's on the 120

I hope this bronze stuff is good for 3000 psi

Back together and testing for leaks (Lucky its not a Land Rover)

The unfinished renovation An open plan kitchen family room.

Plenty of fire wood here for the VFB wood heater and I'm sure you may know how to use a 4BD1 120 and a chain saw if we get cold Don't forget the Rodeo gear

Just thinking I have some good pain killers as you must have a bad headache looking at the signature you have there

Nah I self medicate, scotch and beer

I got an idea on useing a saw, this weekend gone, put nearly 4litres through the 066 out bush, cutting logs that took 2-3 of us to lift on the fires, last fire was bigger than an RR lot of us to keep warm though

Getting time off work is the one thing, but when I can

is it dog friendly? my woofer will get upset if I ditch him

That little guy will be fine here if he doesn't bite my ankle. My 23 dogs are usually restrained anyway and all know there is only one winner in a dog fight. Me Seriously my lot are not aggressive at all so your new friend would be fine here. Plenty of room here for a good run as well.

Seen in past threads you may be partial to the 066 and a smaller one I hope when climbing in trees.

Give me an idea of time frame when you know where you are as (Khos) disco owner has offered many times to help out so will try to line it all up. We will also have a tour of the property

    Arrow The time has come

My wife found me this morning and said the Rangie is pulling right real bad and a brake warning light has come on. Looks like a seized caliper and its now leaking.

With a buggered Viscous, damaged swivel housing seal, rusted left front window regulator and its now doing 19 ltrs/100 on fuel today is it.
The Rangie is decommissioned until done as not safe anymore.
I'll have to get that stinking 45 series out of the way now even if I drag it out and shove it in another clustered shed for a wile.

As I now have an extra rangie and a disco here there is a **** load of spares for it anyway. I just need to find a longer out put shaft for the ZF so can use the Discos LT230 unless I find a fender one.

I'll be clearing the work shop over the next few nights so if you see me posting here before 11pm I need motivating
