Something Positive , perhaps to do with recent head work?

yesterday morning I had to Travel to Penrith with the range rover to drop off a bar for my disco , as I approached the merging lanes on the M7 and started gently pressing the accelerator I noticed that power's real smooth and engine quite responsive , it was rather a hot day , it would have been around 08:00 am.

It seems I have so much more down Low and Midrange Torque , and it feel more flatter to say the least , so would the fact that there's been recent head work done would have something to do with this ? the power was never that smooth and crisp she pulls away quite nicely with 285/75/16.

I have driven yours so can say it does well for a 3.9 with 3.54 diffs and the tyres you have.
I recon it would out run the stock 3.9 90 model I have here with 205/16s.
It is not near as responsive as yours in the mid range revs.
You still got that dead lock up in yours?

the weird thing was that the whole time I was driving it , it was done on Gas , seems to be tuned well for LPG , when I switch over to Petrol ( E10 ) the engine seems even quiter and power is still even more smooth.

would it be any advantage to run a tank of Premium unleaded over say every 2-3 tanks of E10 ?

Your running a dual advance module right. So should be tuned to run the crap unleaded with out pinging wile under load and still get the advance needed for LPG

I doubt running higher octane will make any difference with the given compression ratio It has. Stick that blower you have on it may be a different story though

Yeah , looking forward to driving a Blown 3.9 V8 soon. I'm going to book in to have it Dyno'ed for before and after and post up results in here.
still quite Pleased with it's Driveability with only a Standard Chipp , Standard Cam , seems to have lots of Torque. It really is a Pleasure to Drive.
