The fuse panel on mine has poor connectivity between the fuses and the holder, age, light corrosion or tarnish and my indicators randomly stop working.
Also with a poor connection the fuses can get hot, I had one of the head light fuses start to lightly smoke the other day.
Lucas electrics and old army requirements makes an average electrical system.

P.S and yes as others have pointed out, that dam hazard switch, i sometimes have to on/off, on/off a few times and again the indicators come back to life
I actually suspect the fuse holders. Ive got to get some spares as well as ive run out of "stock". I found that a couple of holders were weak as well. Ill look there first as its easier than pulling tbe column covers off.

Today, well yesterday I filled up at the servo!
Not something I have to do often, as most of my driving is start/stop very short runs. Even with poor short runs I'm getting 11L/100KM which is better than most new turbo diesels around town and it doesnt suffer EGR faults, DPF faults, sooting up or complete engine failures!

Today i got a bit busy chasing fittings for my power steering conversoin on the bushpig. Went to several well known hydraulics suppliers and hose repairers. No good. Went to Enzed in Wingfield and they actually took the time to make up a fitting for me to adapt the genuine isuzu pressure hose to the pump. Cost $40.

Then they supplied a flange fitting for free as well but it really didnt suit my needs.

Then i went to MTQ and got the correct flange fitting for the supply side of the pump. $23. Very happy.

Spoke to them about a turbo kit for bushpig. Around $2700. Better than KLR. Might have to look into it maybe. They also can put bushpig on a dyno there and tune the pump in a bit better and service injectors and pump too. They have done a few in the past they said. Might be worth saving up some pennies.

Next job...getting a drop arm to fit the D1 box. Then fit it all.

Oh gotta get a reservoir bracket too.

    Cheers Rod

Oh is this turbo big enough??? (Size 12 chinese safety boot in pic)
