I installed the recored radiator today. Replaced the rubber mounts for it too.
Added some RMI25 to the coolant. Let's see what that does.
The coolant is HOAT and the blurb boasts it lasts for 350,000km or seven years.

I need to get out and drive it a bit now.

Oh, I also fixed a heater cable. I can now select between hot and cold from inside the cabin.

I'm waiting for my RMI 25 to turn up. Keep us posted on how it works. I was also considering a Tefba in line filler.

My boss has an XA GT. Now, he is the sort of fellow that makes Ted Bullpit's Kingswood look utterly shabby.
He was the fellow that put me onto the stuff. He's been using is religiously in the GT for quite some years. Reckons it's great.

National Gallery in a FFR. The low roof was um, low, reckon there was 1.5inch of air above the rack.

ps, Sydney Nolan 'Ned Kelly' stuff is a crock. But so PC.

Found a tear in my canvas, in the double skinned roof behind the roll bar. Rotten through. Will see if a local canvas place can replace the roof section for less than a Robco new one.
Fitted the rfsv style diff housing, still a few bits to check and tighten yet but all the bolts are in. Need to fit new TREs on the track bar, new nylocs for the shocks, and I suspect one shock is tired...Also found the pass side hub has massive preload or else something is wrong with the swivel pins.

Also had a hercules mechanic stop by for a chat, he doesn't know why the Rovers are superceded, not a fan of the G-Wagens obviously, too hard to fix them he said.

Today I Swapped out the seized winch PTO cable, torqued wheel nuts (loose). Checked drive flange bolts(tight). Swapped over pintle hitch, put waeco in to keep the beer cool. Put gardening tools on. Now to fill the fuel tanks up and take her out on her maiden voyage

    Just catching the perentie bug.
