Just installed a new set of head lights, Chinese knock off similar to jw speaker lights, quality looks great, have plugged them up and the look as bright as the lights on our audi q5 during the day. They fit in the old headlight housing with some modifications (the housing that is) Have to wait till dark to see how well they perform, but enormous improvement on the stock lights.
Still need to do a the relay upgrade, but the less still use less power than the stock.
Will report back with more info and images after dark.

After doing my headlight wiring upgrade I finally have all the right bits to refurbish the headlights themselves. Also polished the stone guards and used 90/100w globes.

Anyone know what the notches are for in the headlight surrounds behind the stone guards? Just realised I put them on the wrong orientation.

Wired in a civilian trailer plug, used the attached pictures supplied by Diana (thanks!) just had to splice the black into the reverse light.
Haven't tested it yet so not sure if supplied information was correct. I'm confident it is though!
Its sitting behind the drivers side convoy light on the rear crossmember. I allowed room for a bigger tire to squeeze in also. It can't be seen from outside the truck, took me a while to decide where to put it, any thoughts on location?
