    After nearly two years of manual steering the trigger was pulled and its time to upgrade the tired old unit and get with the times



    Cant wait to get stuck into the install this weekend

    Is this the kit from KLR? Or something you have sourced yourself?

    It is the complete KLR kit, Throwing in new tie rod ends and sticking the old ones in the spares kit

    Along with the long list for this weekend

    Replace leaking rear drum slave
    Bleed brakes
    Replace steering tie rod ends
    Remove old steering box
    replace with new
    install pump, lines and reservoir
    replace broken tie link
    grease all the unis
    drop the oil motor gearbox transfer
    replace fan belt
    replace fuel filter clean injector screen
    wire up decent 12v accessory and usb outlet
    install window pulls

    Then its time for more of this

    Probably a silly question, but how is it driven? Do they supply a pully and belt or something?

    The pump is driven off the timing gear no belts. There are a bunch of hoses ect to go along with it also
